Working From Home in Style

When our clients transitioned from office work to working from home like so many in the 2020’s, our team put together and implemented a plan to make their home office space better suit their needs.

Sleek, Modern Shelving

We replaced the builder-grade shelving that never really worked for our client’s needs with a modern panel-wrapped alcove with alder veneered box shelves. These are even removeable should their needs for the space ever change in the future.

On either side of this U-shaped office, we added floating shelves to take advantage of what before was wasted space above seated height.

Solid Surface Countertops

This office features a U-shaped worktop in Staron Pure White acrylic solid surface. This material’s impressive durability and unique fabrication characteristics make it a great option for accessory living spaces. We fabricated this off-site and installed it between 5 fixed points, scribed in place, for a seamless look. To create a work area without any corbels or posts in the way, we epoxied a steel support rail to the countertop to prevent any bowing or flexing that could cause failures in the material.

Custom Inset Cabinetry

We custom built this pair of inset base cabinets with extra deep beech dovetailed drawer boxes and soft-closing drawer slides. Integrated shelves and pilasters allow for hiding unsightly computer CPU’s, printers, and the like.
